After being in enforced hibernation for 16 months, the West Shed Museum reopened its doors on 24th July 2021! Coincidentally, our star locomotive – 6233 ‘Duchess of Sutherland’ – has just marked its 83rd birthday, its history record card being dated 23rd July 1938.
So, come and refresh your memory on what a fascinating selection of locomotives, rolling stock and artefacts we have!
